youve been waiting...anticipating...its here...Lots of planning...ordering stages...planning WC layout...prob cant say much more without giving it away...but all i can say, is come ready to have a night unlike {PURE} has ever seen...a series unlike {PURE} has ever seen...

youve been asking what proskuneō is? Wed you will know...not sure I have seen Andy this creatively inclined and passionate...I find myself moved.

Last Night...Amazing

I has been almost 24 hours since last nights powerful service, and the amazing move Jesus we saw, and i still find myself speechless...The one way i can begin to characterize how i feel is to tell you all that...seeing 350 of you on your knees in absolute surrender to Jesus as your friends and family stood up to say 'i need a second chance and radical grace,' many for the first time...brought me to tears, and i almost couldn't finish...you cant imagine what that looked like...seeing 300+ passionate people say yes to Jesus call to 'Come and Believe.'

Weekly i am brought to my knees in awe of the movement taking place in our midst, not just at {pure} but also at Generate and other movements committed to seeing the NxtGen become a generation of Passionate Worshipers, and Pursuers of Christ...not to mention those beleiving with us...check out Pastor Tony's blog about {pure}...click here

like i shared last night, i have been in many amazing places, and met some amazing people, but none of them can change us, no matter how powerful, like an authentic encounter with Jesus.

P.S. 8 of your family and friends committed their lives to Jesus for the first time last night, 10 rededicated their lives to Him, and 22 were baptized!! Happy Father's Day to our Heavenly Father...I am sure His heart is full of Joy...Pics of Baptism coming soon...watch the site!

OUR BIRTHDAY

Just finished planning out tomorrow night and next week w/ the amazing Andy Talyor and talented Mr. Joe Chappell...I cant believe that its been a year already...i dont even know what to say...I am blessed beyond belief to wake up everyday with the single responsibility of pursuing Jesus and asking Him how he wants us to pursue this generation with His Hope.

Someone emailed me this week and said 'what a privileged we have to be chosen to be used to reach Gen-Y.' I cant agree more...What a profound honor it is that Jesus has chosen us to lead this movement...a movement where an entire generation in a SoCal could start to believe and live out Passionate Worship, Passionate Discipleship, and Passionate Hope.

Im excited...its here...

Dreary Day...Full of Hope

I have an ironic weekend ahead of me...Sat morning we will celebrate the wonderful life of Lisa Walters, an amazing woman of God, mother, grandmother, and wife...Thanks to all @ {pure} who have stepped up to provide for the family and guests at the reception...

The irony comes from the fact that i will leave the memorial for Lisa and head over to lead two wonderful people in 'holy matrimony.' What a beautiful day, celebrating a life, though the loss is tragic and very sad, i am full of joy and jealousy...She is with Jesus now and for that I am joyful, but i am jealous for the family and friends that will have a part of them missing without her...to also then be privileged to participate with two people in committing their hearts and lives to a lifelong covenant with God and each other, very moving.

I hope that your weekend is blessed...Jesus is moving huge @ {pure} and i cant tell you how moved i was as i looked out and saw each of you responding to Andy's call to worship during 'The Stand' on Wed night. Hundreds of hands raised high in adoration and passionate pursuit of our Savior. What a powerful thing, young people seeing Jesus' call and responding to it...{pure} worship with everything in you, Jesus is using us to change the world!!!

Performing and Creative Arts in Ministry

Two nights ago I performed at Cinespace in Hollywood for ART4LIFE to raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society. It was an incredible time for artists to share their gifts. It inspired me to continue to pray for the direction God wants to use creative and performing arts at PURE. I have soooo many exciting ideas, but want God to direct this passion for our community. Fellow artists and community, PLEASE pray for God to unravel vision for the arts! What do you think?!

Thank you Shane and a few members from PURE came to support! Hope you were able to connect with the various art forms on stage and are praying for the darkness of the entertainment industry. God has called us to minister to EVERYONE:)

So i was getting lunch today...and yep this was my chicken...couldnt help but think of all the crazy stories people have made up about bread, tortillas, and chips with Jesus or Mary's face on them...so in light of that this made me laugh...whats it remind you of???
