What an amazing night we had last night! 24 people committed their lives to pursuing ministry full-time! Praise God! Its a privilege to be a part of a community of believers who are ready for more! Who understand that God is doing something bigger than we even know, and want to come along for the ride!
In the past 2 weeks we've talked about Community and Service... and we have two amazing opportunities coming up to get involved and spend time together as a family at Pure!
The first is Nascar! October 8-11 we will be heading down to the California Speedway to volunteer our time and help them out during the Pepsi 500! It is a ton of fun, and a great way to meet new people and serve along side each other!
The next is Mexico! Shane briefly spoke about the trip last night. We will be taking a team to Mexico November 13-15. If you have never done an outreach trip to Mexico, I would strongly recommend it! Its a great time of fellowship and serving. If you are looking to take the next step in becoming a PC... this is a great place to start! I have been serving in Mexico pretty much all my life, and it brings me so much joy! Each and everytime I have gone down there, whether it is to build houses, feed the homeless, run children's camp, spend time in an orphanage, or minister to communites, it has all been such a privilege. I believe that God is doing amazing things in a country that has so much corruption, because there are people there who ARE passionate christians and are stepping up and making a change.
